Deidra Buchele keeps Aberdeen Haunted Forest alive in the minds of the community all year long. As the voice behind the forest's social media presence, she crafts the posts, photos, and stories that build anticipation and keep fans coming back every October.
But Deidra doesn't just work behind a screen — she's also a Scene Coordinator, helping plan and execute the immersive environments that make the forest one of northeastern South Dakota's most beloved Halloween traditions.
Her dual role means she understands both the story being told inside the forest and how to share that story with the world outside it.
